Our client is an independent trust and corporate services firm. Due to business growth, they are looking for Trust to join their team based in Singapore. Ideal candidate should be holding or studying towards a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of trust accounts, including but not limited to opening new bank or brokerage accounts, distribution to beneficiaries, fund transfer, and investment management.
- Drafting of appropriate documents such as trustee minutes or resolutions, and responding to client requests;
- Carrying out risk screenings on clients/ trust related parties, first level client CDD reviews and preparing the required documents according to agreed policies and procedures;
- Carrying out periodic reviews of assigned trust accounts to ensure they are being administered in accordance with the trust deeds, the company’s policies, and legal and tax requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and organized trust records.
- Acts as a primary point of contact for trust clients and relevant stakeholders including external lawyers, tax consultants etc.
Key Requirements
- At least 4 - 7 years experience, preferably with exposure to Trust administration.
- STEP qualification (or in the progress of being qualified) is highly regarded.
- Meticulous, organized and able to working under time driven pressures.
- Excellent communication and client-servicing skills.
