Our client, a professional services provider, is seeking a proactive and experienced Corporate Accountant to manage a portfolio of diverse client entities while leading a team of accountants and administrators. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, overseeing team performance, ensuring accurate financial controls, and maintaining consistent delivery across a range of corporate services, including accounting, tax, payroll, and company secretarial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, tax, and secretarial services across client portfolio

Lead and contribute to management meetings to support continuous process improvement

Monitor team billing, utilisation, and cash collection targets

Maintain accuracy and compliance in financial records, billing, and documentation

Support staff development through regular performance reviews and mentoring
Key Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified, with post-qualification experience in corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge in bookkeeping, accounts preparation, VAT, payroll, and company administration. Good understanding of VAT and Corporation Tax regulations.
- Familiar with FRS 102 (IFRS experience a plus); experience with real estate or regulated clients is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of governance and company secretarial responsibilities.
