Senior Manager, Capital Markets Transactions (Singapore)

Our client is seeking an experienced capital markets professional to lead transaction execution across a broad range of debt and structured finance mandates. The role sits within a global capital markets platform providing trustee and agency services across bonds, loans, project finance, securitisations, escrow arrangements, covered bonds and property trust structures.

You will work closely with banks, funds, issuers, borrowers, legal counsel and financial advisers across the full transaction lifecycle, including new issuances, amendments and distressed restructurings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the review and negotiation of transaction documentation across complex debt and structured finance transactions.
  • Ensure contractual terms are aligned with the scope of appointed trustee, agency and related services.
  • Assess transaction structures for operational feasibility, risks, gaps and internal approval requirements.
  • Provide practical input on deal structure, mechanics and execution.
  • Coordinate transaction onboarding, documentation completion, execution and closing deliverables, including CP/CS, security perfection and charge registration.
  • Act as a key liaison with issuers, borrowers, lenders, bondholders and professional advisers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Oversee loan drawdowns, verify conditions precedent and monitor conditions subsequent.
  • Support stakeholder discussions involving interpretation of transaction documentation.
  • Partner with internal Legal, Compliance, Operations and Tax teams to support effective execution and ongoing administration.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support process enhancement, service quality and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Contribute to global projects, new product development and management reporting.

Key Requirements

  • About 7–10 years of relevant experience in banking, corporate trust, capital markets transaction management or a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of structured finance, loan administration and bond trusteeship.
  • Strong ability to analyse complex transaction structures and legal documentation.
  • Commercial judgement and practical problem-solving capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with counterparties and professional advisers.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is highly preferred.
  • Background in Legal, Banking & Finance or a related discipline preferred.
  • Cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transaction experience is highly advantageous.
