A fast-growing fintech platform operating in the private markets ecosystem is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design and deliver machine learning solutions supporting investment, operational, and data intelligence capabilities.
This role sits within a global technology team and focuses on building scalable AI applications across financial datasets and investment platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for financial services applications
- Develop scalable ML pipelines and production-ready AI systems
- Collaborate with data scientists to structure and prepare datasets for model training and evaluation
- Research and evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks
- Implement model validation, monitoring, and performance optimisation processes
- Integrate AI models with enterprise systems and third-party APIs
- Contribute to internal best practices for AI development and model governance
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or related fields
- At least 5+ years of software engineering experience (Python or TypeScript)
- Hands-on experience building AI/ML applications in financial services or data-intensive environments
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
- Practical experience working with LLMs and NLP tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar
- Exposure to financial data environments, trading systems, or fund administration platforms is advantageous
