A leading professional services firm is seeking an Audit Manager – Asset Management to join its Hong Kong team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional with strong exposure to the fund and asset management industry to take greater ownership of client engagements. The portfolio covers a range of alternative investment structures, including Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, Real Estate Funds and Multi-Family Offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage audit engagements across fund and asset management clients.
- Cover portfolios including private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds and multi-family offices.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP and applicable standards.
- Manage engagement timelines, project financials and reporting requirements.
- Supervise and guide junior associates on audit procedures and technical matters.
- Ensure audit deliverables meet required quality and efficiency standards.
- Liaise directly with clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Support effective delivery and resolution of audit-related matters throughout engagements.
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years of audit experience within a professional services firm, covering fund or asset management clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a recognised professional accounting qualification.
- Good exposure to Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds and/or other alternative investment structures.
- Strong audit technical, accounting and analytical skills.
- Good client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
