Our client is an international professional service firm that they provide fund accounting and fund administration to clients. Their clients are alternative funds including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Director, Business Development and the role is based in either based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute business development strategies and identify new business leads
- Market and promote fund administration/fund accounting services etc to potential clients in the fund industry
- Build new business relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain good partnerships with existing clients and ensure good quality of service to them
- Identify business opportunity for the firm, enhance the overall brand awareness
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, collaborate with other departments to provide effective service and solutions to clients
- Attend industry events to establish market networks
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments
- Other ad-hoc duties in sales and business development
Key Requirements
- At least 6 years of sales, business development experience with strong network in alternative fund industry such as private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds and others.
- Strong industry market knowledge and network in asset management industry.
- Motivated, commercial mindset, strategic.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
