Our client is a leading investment advisory firm dedicated to leveraging innovative strategies to deliver exceptional results for their clients. They are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to spearhead their business development efforts in the Asia market. In this role, you will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives that align with their mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the firm’s presence in Asia, focusing on building relationships with institutional investors, family offices, alternative investments and corporate clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Drive new client acquisition through targeted outreach, presentations, and networking events
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with internal teams, including research and strategy, to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on market developments, sales pipeline, and strategic initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the financial services or investment advisory sector
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and investment strategies, particularly in the Asian market.
- Established contacts within the investment community in Asia, including institutional investors and financial intermediaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
