Our client is an established international corporate and trust services provider seeking a Client Accounting Executive to join its Singapore team.
This role focuses on maintaining financial records and preparing financial statements for Singapore and offshore corporate and trust entities, including investment holding companies and other client structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and full sets of accounts for Singapore and offshore client entities.
- Prepare financial statements, working papers and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank, investment holdings and securities reconciliations.
- Record financial transactions, including payments, investment activities and other accounting entries.
- Perform year-end foreign currency revaluations and fair value adjustments for investments.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Prepare XBRL financial statements, Form C-S and corporate tax computations.
- Liaise with client administrators, auditors and tax agents to meet statutory reporting deadlines.
- Obtain and review supporting documentation for investment transactions and valuations.
- Support other client accounting and reporting activities as required.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full-set bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
- Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
- Strong bookkeeping, reconciliation and financial reporting capabilities.
- Familiarity with investment holding companies, family offices and investment-related accounting is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of FRS 109 and FRS 107, particularly financial instruments and related disclosures, is an advantage.
- Experience preparing Form C-S and corporate tax computations is advantageous.
- Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
