Our client is an investment management firm seeking an Execution Trader – Global Equities to support equity trading activities across international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute equities trades for the firm’s investment portfolios, and ensure timely and accurate trade execution
- Manage high-touch equity trades requiring special handling, including manual order execution and email-based trade instructions.
- Monitor trading activities and system to ensure they are run in a smooth manner and aligned with the firm’s trading direction
- Stay abreast of trading mechanisms, order placement requirements, market regulations and trading restrictions across global equity markets, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal trading policies.
- Collaborate with other teams e.g. IT teams on trading and valuation reports
- Work with other team to support trading data analysis
- Maintain effective working relationships with brokers and other trading counterparties
- Other tasks related to execution trading
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics/ Computer Science / Business Management
- Around 1 to 5 years of Execution Trader experience in global equities
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages
- Analytical, meticulous, motivated.
- Responsible, team-work, flexible to work in a small office environment
