A growing fund services provider is seeking a Fund Accountant / Senior Fund Accountant to join its Hong Kong team.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of hedge funds and crypto funds, working closely with investment managers, auditors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality fund administration services. You will be involved in fund valuations, regulatory compliance, client onboarding, and fund launches within a fast-growing alternative investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of hedge fund and crypto fund clients.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations.
- Ensure timely delivery of fund accounting and administration services.
- Perform AML, FATCA, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
- Support year-end audits and financial reporting.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and launching new investment funds.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high service standards.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support ad-hoc fund administration projects as required.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of fund accounting or fund administration experience.
- Experience with Hedge Funds and/or Crypto Funds is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of NAV calculations, fund accounting, and investment operations.
- Familiarity with AML, FATCA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills. Fluent in English and Chinese.
