We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join a growing broking team in Malaysia. This role focuses on supporting clients across key General Insurance lines while driving both new business and renewal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of General Insurance clients, ensuring timely renewals and strong relationship maintenance.
- Drive new business opportunities through proactive engagement and market outreach.
- Provide technical guidance across P&C, Financial Lines, Marine, or related GI products.
- Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms, quotations, and placement structures.
- Prepare client proposals, policy comparisons, and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in General Insurance broking
- Exposure to one or more product lines such as Property & Casualty, Financial Lines, or Marine
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and manage relationships
- Proven ability in both renewals and new business development
