Our client is looking for an experienced IT Compliance Manager to lead global data privacy, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity governance across multiple regions, including APAC, Europe, and North America. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution, and is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating global privacy frameworks while partnering closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Privacy
- Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the company’s global data privacy program.
- Ensure compliance with major international regulations (GDPR, PDPA, CCPA, etc.).
- Conduct privacy impact assessments, compliance audits, and risk reviews.
- Review contracts and vendor agreements for privacy risks and regulatory alignment.
- Monitor evolving data protection laws and provide internal guidance.
- Build and deliver privacy training programs across the organization.
Cybersecurity Governance
- Provide strategic oversight on cybersecurity frameworks and initiatives.
- Manage internal and external audits including ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.
- Advise teams on security policies, risk mitigation, and compliance best practices.
- Support the adoption of new certifications and governance standards.
Other Responsibilities
- Act as a key contact for regulatory and compliance matters.
- Champion a strong culture of IT compliance and security awareness.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy, IT risk, cybersecurity, or compliance roles.
- Proven ability to implement data protection frameworks in a global organization.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and regulatory standards.
- Ability to lead training, awareness, and compliance programs effectively.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
