A global investment banking platform is expanding its Loans Settlements function and hiring at both Analyst and Team Manager levels. These roles support syndicated term loan trade processing across LMA and LSTA markets, ensuring accurate booking, confirmation, and settlement within a controlled risk environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end trade booking, confirmation, and settlement activities
- Process syndicated term loan settlements (LMA / LSTA markets)
- Coordinate settlement date activities and payment confirmations (SWIFT)
- Handle lifecycle events including paydowns, PIK, assignment and consent fees
- Utilise loan settlement platforms such as ClearPar and VTS
- Support DTC, Euroclear, Fed, and CEDEL market settlements
- Liaise with front office, trustees, custodians, and counterparties
- Escalate operational risks and resolve trade discrepancies
Team Manager-level candidates will additionally:
- Oversee workflow allocation and production tracking
- Supervise team deliverables and risk controls
- Manage escalations and stakeholder engagement
- Drive process improvements within trade support operations
Key Requirements
- Strong knowledge of syndicated term loans (LMA / LSTA markets)
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and investment banking operations
- Exposure to fixed income, loans, and structured credit products
- Experience in loan settlement platforms (ClearPar, VTS, Geneva or similar)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking abilities
- MBA (Finance) or relevant qualification preferred
