The successful candidate will have solid expertise in marine insurance, with a particular focus on hull or cargo. As a Marine Broker / Manager, you will manage a portfolio of marine accounts across the region, cultivate strong client relationships, and deliver tailored insurance solutions to meet clients’ needs.
This is a regional Placing & Producing Marine Broking role, responsible for developing and servicing a diverse portfolio of clients across Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing existing marine accounts
- Developing new client relationships through referrals, soft networking, and industry engagement
- Providing technically sound, advice-led insurance solutions tailored to client requirements
- Contributing to long-term succession planning and progressing toward a future leadership role
Key Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in marine insurance broking (cargo, hull, or related marine risks)
- Solid technical knowledge of marine cargo and/or hull insurance, including policy structures, wordings, and market practices
- Experience managing a portfolio of marine clients across regional markets (Asia experience preferred)
- Strong client management and business development skills
