Senior Trust Officer (Guernsey)

A leading international fiduciary services provider is seeking an experienced Senior Trust Officer to join its growing Guernsey office.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of complex private wealth structures while building trusted relationships with clients, intermediaries, and professional advisers. In addition to delivering high-quality fiduciary services, you will contribute to business development initiatives, mentor junior team members, and support the continuous improvement of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex trusts, companies, foundations, and private wealth structures.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and professional advisers.
  • Identify and support new business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Attend client and adviser meetings in Guernsey and overseas where required.
  • Maintain statutory records and ensure ongoing regulatory and fiduciary compliance.
  • Complete trust reviews, control functions, and entity administration activities.
  • Review financial statements and monitor client profitability and fee management.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to junior team members.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices.
  • Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with internal policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant experience within Trust, Fiduciary, or Private Wealth Services.
  • STEP, CGI (ICSA), or other relevant professional qualification preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of trust, company, and fiduciary administration.
  • Good understanding of AML, compliance, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Experience managing complex client relationships independently.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
